Our story
Two cooks, one beat up truck, a lot of butter
We started in 2016 with a used step van and a stubborn idea: a burger should taste like somebody cared.
Rolling since 2016
Marcus was cooking on a hotel line and hated it. Dee was selling shakes at a county fair and loved it. They met over a broken fryer, bought a 1994 step van for less than a used car, and spent one Michigan winter gutting it in a rented garage.
The first Saturday at the Flint Farmers Market they sold out in ninety minutes and drove home laughing. Marcus still grinds fresh chuck and brisket every morning. Dee still fries the potatoes twice, because once is not enough.
Ten years later we park at the same market on Saturdays. The line is longer, the music is louder, and the burgers are better. Come hungry and say hi at the window.
