Our Story
Founded on a simple promise
Margaret Haleworth opened the firm in 1994 with one desk and one rule: every client talks to a lawyer. She had watched injured people get passed from paralegal to paralegal at larger firms, and she built something different.
Daniel Reid joined in 2003 after a decade as a Travis County prosecutor. Together they grew the firm into six practice areas while keeping the same promise. Today our attorneys serve clients from Austin to Waco, and we still return every call the same business day.
We are large enough to take on insurers, hospitals, and the state. We are small enough to know your name, your family, and what this case means to you.

Milestones
How the firm has grown
1994
Margaret Haleworth opens the firm to represent injured Texans.
2003
Daniel Reid joins as partner and launches the criminal defense practice.
2011
The firm moves to its current office on Congress Avenue.
2016
Family law, estate planning, and business law practices are added.
