What we believe
Simple faith, held with open hands
You do not have to agree with all of this to belong here. Come, sit with us, and take your time.
We follow Jesus, we take the Bible seriously, and we hold our doors open wide. Here is what we believe, written plainly. You are welcome here long before you agree with all of it.
1
God
We believe God is good, close, and personal. He made this world on purpose and he has not walked away from it.
2
Jesus
Jesus lived, died, and rose again. Everything we do here comes back to him and to the grace he gives freely.
3
The Bible
We read it together, we wrestle with the hard parts, and we let it shape how we live and how we treat people.
4
Grace
You cannot earn your way in and you cannot behave your way out. Grace is the whole point.
5
The church
Church is not a building or an hour. It is people who show up for each other on the good weeks and the hard ones.
6
Our neighbors
Faith that stays inside the walls is not much use. We serve this town because we love it.
Honest questions
Things people ask us
Do I have to believe all of this to come?
No. Plenty of people here are still deciding. Sit in the back, listen, and take as long as you need.
What if I have not been to church in years?
You will not be the only one. Nobody will ask where you have been.
Is there room for hard questions?
Yes. Ask them out loud. We would rather be honest with you than impressive.
Who is welcome here?
Everyone. Whatever your background, your story, or your season, there is a seat for you.
